Meet the artist
Hello there, it’s nice to see you here!
The letter ‘M’ in ‘Cera M’ stands for my name ‘Medha Bhave’. I graduated from J.J. School of Applied Arts in 1999 and worked in graphic designing for nearly 20 years. I found “Cera M” in 2019 out of my newfound passion for clay.
I found a place which was peaceful while at the same time helped me get out of the endless loop of daily life and thus, ‘Cera-M’ was born. Using my gained experience through attending small workshops, I started the journey of ‘creating clay’.
Today, I am very happy to make my creations and spread some of my love and warmth.
Clay Ideology
Clay, to me, is a combination of different emotions blended in a single creation. Since no two creations are the same, each creation is given its own unique personality; a soul. While this doesn’t sound all too new, I strongly believe that clay has taught me a lot. The very nature of clay is unpredictable, and with each new piece I create, I discover my own hidden potential.
Seeking clay as a solace was one of the most actively successful choices I have ever made. The versatility of clay is what drives me every day to explore different sides of clay I have never seen.
Work pattern + inspiration
I spend my time in my cozy studio, surrounded by trees and birds—a form of solitude where the clay is me and I am clay. Those two rooms are where we create our articles (that is where the magic happens!).
Since clay opens up a lot of locked potential, I love to work there. I never thought those four walls and clay would make me feel the most peaceful I’ve been.
Thus, we work with love—to give you love!
